Johan Jonsson

I grew up ski racing on small hills in Sweden, but after three years of race academy, my 20 year old me felt that softer snow had greater magnetic force than FIS-races. I lived like a rebel without a cause for ten years — drinking, traveling, skiing and doing demolition work in summer and fall to finance skiing — but eventually changed some of the drinking for more skiing and less attitude. It resulted better sponsors and was the start of a long streak doing the best jobb in the world. Today a big part of the winters are still spent in the Alps, but I drag my girlfriend and two kids with me.
