The Pyrox has been designed around activity and gender-specific anatomical lasts to match the ergonomic and biometric needs of trail runners. Thanks to the AST technology, the shoe fits like a glove around the foot, while the forefoot and heel retention offer superior support, enabling high performance on the most technical terrain.
FOUR DIMENSION ADAPTABILITY
Tecnica's R&D team considered the full spectrum of the forces developed in the midsole during a run and how the forces change over time during the footstep. The result is Impulso4D, a midsole that warps to dump and release those forces, adapting to your kinematics, ensuring smooth running flow, forgiving cushioning, and adaptability to various terrains.
DOOR-TO-TRAIL COMFORT
The bottom material of the dual-component midsole of the Pyrox Hybrid is soft and long-lasting supercritical Pebax®, which adapts to terrains through horizontal deformation. In direct contact with the foot, the upper part is made of comfortable supercritical EVA, which offers stability and 20% more shock absorption than standard EVA.
FOUR DIMENSION ADAPTABILITY
The heel material of the dual-component midsole of the Pyrox Xplore is soft, long-lasting supercritical EVA foam, which offers 20% more shock absorption during downhills and when the legs get tired compared to standard EVA. Under the forefoot, the front part is made of denser supercritical TPEE for enhanced reactivity and a more direct contact with the ground when you want to push hard.

The Spark Speed has been designed around an activity-specific anatomical last to match the ergonomic and biometric needs of fast hikers. The shoe has a moderately snug and agile fit to meet the needs of more sporty, demanding, and high-pace fast hiking.

The Pebax® foam plate of the Impulso technology sits in a balanced EVA midsole geometry, providing a lightweight, durable platform that supports the foot during intense fast hiking, keeping the shoe’s lateral stability when moving fast downhill or on uneven terrain. In addition, the V-Shaped ESS insert plate at the midfoot delivers torsional support and helps to prevent ankle injuries.
RESPONSIVE CUSHIONING
The midsole unit features Tecnica's exclusive Impulso technology that combines the benefits of a high-rebound EVA and a Pebax® elastomer insert placed at the mid and front foot. The result is a dynamic and propulsive stride while maintaining balanced cushioning, agile performance with a smooth and fast transition, and a responsive toe-off when pushing hard to reach the summit.

The Spark has been designed around an activity-specific anatomical last to match the ergonomic and biometric needs of fast hikers. The shoe fits like a glove around the foot, and its excellent forefoot and heel retention provides solid support for high performance in the most technical terrain. In addition, the comfortable and breathable ORTHOLITE® footbed keeps the foot cooler and drier.

SPECIFIC WOMEN'S COMFORTABLE FIT
The Agate has been designed around a gender-specific anatomical last to carefully match the more triangular shape, lower volume and narrower heel bone of women's feet. In addition, the underfoot has been fine-tuned to provide support to women's higher foot arch. The comfortable anatomical design has been approved by focus groups with the W2W initiative and scientifically validated by CeRiSM.
ALL MOUNTAIN PRECISE FIT
By combining pre-shaped thermoplastic inserts and an ORTHOLITE® footbed, the AST - Adaptive Shape Technology adapts the Magma 2.0 to the precise shape of each foot. Designed around an anatomical last, the Magma 2.0 provides great midfoot support and secure heel hold when moving fast in the mountain on technical terrain.
ALL-TERRAIN PERFORMANCE
The exclusive multi-traction outsole tread pattern, inspired by MTB enduro tyre designs, features the Vibram® Litebase™ technology and the Megagrip™ compound rubber, offering optimal grip on all surfaces and in both dry and wet conditions. The outsole wraps the upper at critical abrasion zones, providing protection with no need for a conventional glued rubber rand.
DOWNHILL COMFORT
To provide comfort during downhill fast sections, the Magma 2.0 features a high-rebound compression-molded EVA midsole that absorbs heavy impacts, an ultra-large heel shape that provides great stability when hiking or running downhill and on technical traverses, and two rubber fins on either side of the heel that provide a superior level of braking.
CLIMBING PRECISION
By combining adaptive memory foams with pre-shaped thermoplastic inserts and an ORTHOLITE® footbed, the AST - Adaptive Shape Technology adapts the Sulfur to the precise shape of each foot. Designed around an anatomical last, the Sulfur is equipped with the Edge Frame echnology and a Vibram® Megagrip™ outsole with climbing zone to enhance its climbing performance.
CLIMBING PERFORMANCE MEETS HIKING WALKABILITY
The Edge Frame Plate placed above the midsole provides stiffness and support while climbing, still allowing the shoe to flex freely when walking. The result: climbing performance meets hiking walkability. The longitudinal elements promote stiffness and torsional rigidity at the toe and midfoot. The cut-out crossway arrangements allow for more flex in the metatarsal area.
HIKING COMFORT
The midsole is made with two different densities. The softer EVA compound at the heel provides cushioning and ground adaptability, to guarantee optimal comfort when walking. The midsole and outsole are designed with a front-rockered profile to promote a smoother heel-to-toe transition, to walk longer with a higher level of comfort.
GROUND VERSATILITY
The Forge 2.0 is equipped with a Vibram® XS Trek Evo™ sole designed to adapt to a wide range of wet and dry surfaces. Outer lugs provide ground adaptability and stability in varied terrain. Inner lugs ensure multidirectional traction; the semiclimbing zone adds climbing performance, and self-cleaning channels keep the sole free from mud and debris.
STABLE SUPPORT
The Forge 2.0 is equipped with a polypropylene lasting board placed on top of the outsole and midsole unit, providing stiffness and support on uneven technical terrain under heavy backpacks, while under the compressed EVA midsole sits an ESS rock plate that protects the forefoot from sharp rocks.
ALL DAY COMFORT
To provide comfort all day long, the Makalu 85 benefits from Tecnica's exclusive AST - Adaptive Shape Technology, which includes designing the shoe around an anatomical and activity-specific last. The anatomical knitted collar and tongue provide extra comfort in critical areas.
