Crafted specifically for younger racers who need a custom design to match the geometry of their body, the Firebird R 90 SC (Short-Cuff) offers true race performance with a shorter cuff and softer flex. The short cuff and flex curve allow the junior racer to efficiently and effectively flex the boot to ensure proper energy transfer. Equipped with a race liner for a more precise feel, the Firebird R 90 SC is supportive and stable for crushing gates at max speeds. Fun is not simply stacking visits to the podium, it’s everything that goes into it along the way. It’s the feeling of nailing your first cross block, seeing the faster line or feeling your best turn of the day.

Given the needs and level of every skiers, we project models with different flex, thanks to the combination of different plastics. Tecnica ski boots are divided into: HARD (flex man 140-120/woman 115-95), MEDIUM (flex man 110-90/woman 85-75) e SOFT (flex man 80-60/woman 65-55).
HARD: for expert and more robust skiers
MEDIUM: for intermediate and/or medium-sized
SOFT: for beginners or lighter skiers

The width of foot's sole changes from person to person, that's why our ski boots have different volumes to meet the needs of every skier. Tecnica ski boots are divided into: LV (low – from 93 to 98mm), MV (mid – from 99 to 100mm) and HV (high – 103mm).
LV: for skiers with narrow foot's sole or for those who prefer a more enveloping and precise fit
MV: for skiers with medium foot's sole or for those who prefer a regular fit
HV: for skiers with a wide foot's sole or for those who prefer a comfortable fit

Features and benefits

POWER LOCK STRAP: The Power Lock strap provides perfect control and more precise power transmission. The hook eliminates the need to open the strap completely, saving you time.
PERFORMANCE POWER STRAP: Due to its elasticity, the Performance Power Strap offers the best performance strap on the market. It is made of an elastic strap and finely adjustable with the patented Tecnica Power Lock hook.
DOUBLE SPOILER: The double spoiler allows a modular forward lean adjustment. With the complete spoiler the boot will increase its forward lean by 3.5°; by removing the first layer 2°. Thanks to the velcro attachment you can adjust also the hight of the spoiler.
MATERIAL TRACIABILITY PROGRAM: QR will provide a precise description of all the materials used in the production of the specidic ski-boot, allowing a more precise and consistent regeneration of those materials. This will result in better quality and more possibility to reuse in new ski-boots production.
