For skiers with an affinity for a long radius and high-speed turns, the WRC is the ski of choice in the Blizzard Firebird lineup. The magic of the WRC is Blizzard's Race Trueblend woodcore, paired with a Double Titanal Sandwich Compound Sidewall construction and an all-new proprietary Race Plate binding interface, resulting in a highly responsive ski.

Skiers that have moved beyond the basics and feel more comfortable on the slopes making strong parallel turns with solid edge control. These skiers are exploring more of the mountain and ski the majority of the runs at most resorts, but still improving their skills to take on the hardest runs with confidence. The majority of intermediate skiers can adjust and manage their speed while adjusting to a variety of terrain and snow conditions.

Very experienced skiers that can easily tackle all types of terrain. Event at high speed, these skiers are balanced, controlled and confident. They ski efficiently with strong technique not matter what turn shape or at any speed. Expert skiers enjoy the challenge of variable conditions and terrain — from groomers to deep snow and tight trees to wide open faces - while adjusting quickly to unexpected obstacles along the way.

TRUEBLEND RACE WOODCORE

PERFECT BALANCED FLEX
Two different types of wood, ash and poplar, specifically blended into one woodcore. The different density stringers are customized in quantity and length creating 3 different areas of density to precisely control the flex.

RACING PERFORMANCE
The Trueblend Race Woodcore is designed with a harder flex zone in the center, that provides stability and edge grip, a medium flex zone in front of and behind the binding that provides control, and a soft flex zone in the tip and tail that provides easy turn initiation and release.
Trueblend technology allows us to precisely control the flex throughout the whole length of the ski and in every size.

3 TI CONSTRUCTION

3 TI CONSTRUCTION: Race flex and driving precision. A solution tested by our athletes; designed to work as one with the Trueblend Race woodcore.
3 areas of stiffness to match the different areas of flex of the Trueblend Race.
A “soft” and precise turn initiation, amazing grip and support underfoot and finally a boosted acceleration while exiting the turn.

RACE PLATE PRO

A fixed race binding plate interface that mirrors the kinematics concept of the world cup piston plate, without the hydraulic oil piston. The system allows for specific points to slide a targeted range so the plate can allow for proper ski flex. The Race Plate Pro features a metal bridge, and welcomes marker race bindings to be fixed in skier's desired mounting position.
